A new chapter of service to Fodome Amele
On August 13, 2026, Togbe Edzeani V was formally installed as Divisional Chief of Fodome Amele by the Fodome Traditional Council, under the leadership of the Paramount Chief, Togbega Gbedebleme Akpatsa II.
Held at the White House, the installation was a colourful and dignified celebration of tradition, heritage and collective identity. He was sworn into office in accordance with the customs of the Fodome Traditional Council, surrounded by distinguished chiefs and queen mothers, members of the public, and a delegation from Abutia led by Togbega Kodzo Gidi, Paramount Chief of Abutia.

Fifteen years in banking, a lifetime of service
Before this calling, Togbe Edzeani V spent more than 15 years building a professional career as a Banking Consultant, providing advisory services to international firms across Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa. His journey — supported by Master's degrees from Central University and the University of Ghana — has exposed him to different cultures, institutions and approaches to development.
Through his philanthropic work, his non-governmental organisation and various charitable initiatives, he has supported individuals and communities across Ghana. His installation as Togbe Edzeani V now gives that work an even greater platform.
To serve Fodome Amele, and contribute meaningfully to its development
Togbe Edzeani V will work with development partners, government institutions, traditional authorities, private-sector organisations and every stakeholder who shares this vision — because meaningful progress is never the work of one person alone.

The first human settlement of the Fodome people
Fodome Amele holds a special place in Fodome history as its first human settlement. Its heritage, traditions and history form an important part of who the Fodome people are. As Togbe Edzeani V, he accepts the responsibility of helping to preserve that heritage while ensuring the community moves confidently into the future.
